If using genesis, put the following in functions.php:
remove_action( ‘genesis_sidebar_alt’, ‘genesis_do_sidebar_alt’ );

Hello,

Im using genesis Atmosphere Pro child theme from my website freelancingwiz.com. I want sidebar in on pages except home page. I do not want secondary sidebar widget area which is coming at the end of the page. I tried your suggestion but it has no effect. Kindly guide me on the same. Do I have to change in style sheet?

I had the same problem in Sixteen Nine Pro Theme.

I resolved the problem in pasting the following code to the functions.php (of sixteen nine pro theme):

remove_action( 'genesis_sidebar_alt', 'genesis_do_sidebar_alt' );
