I wish to add a sidebar on the right side of an interior page of my website. I’ve tried finagling various widgets, but it causes my primary sidebar to disappear on other pages. I’m trying to add a menu that “short cuts” the user to the referenced item while skipping all the stuff in front of it. I need a place to add this menu and the sidebar space is the location for it. My primary sidebar is a photograph and it shows up on three other pages.

I’m also open to any other “work around” solution.
My site is in the Sela theme. I appreciate any assistance and hope I’ve been clear in my explanation. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi there,

It sounds like Jetpack’s Widget Visibility module will help you to achieve what you’re after:

    https://jetpack.com/support/widget-visibility/

Using the above, you could change your widget’s visibility settings so that it only displays on your Leadership page. You could then change the visibility setting of your image widget so that it doesn’t display on your Leadership page.

Let me know if that’s helpful. If not, we can troubleshoot other ways for achieving what you’re after.
