Second UL in Primary Nav Menu

    Would it be possible to make it so that the primary navigation in WordPress is broken down with multiple ULs inside the nav item? For example, if my top level nav items are section1 and section2 and each of those nav items have children, then I would like the ULs to be section1 and section2 and the children of those items would be the LIs of their respective parents. The reason I would like to do this is so that I can style the sections of the menu with different background colors.

    After further review, it appears that each subnav is wrapped in its own UL so I was able to target the top level LI elements that I needed to style.
