Second level pages not appearing from menu and preview

  • not even the top level pages like ‘contact us’ are working.

    try to reset the permalinks to ‘default’, save and test the links;

    then set the permalinks to your chosen custom setting; save and test again.

    changing it to the default seems to have worked, how weird. I haven’t touched that site for 2 years and suddenly it went wrong, many thanks
