Second item postage free (that’s ok) second item discounted

    Hello

    I currently use 1.25 + ( 2 * 0 ) to calculate the flat rate postage for an item and if two of the same are purchased, the second item has free postage.

    Item 1: 19.99 postage 1.25
    Item 2: 19.99 postage free

    Total cost: ￡41.23

    This works fine.

    My question is, what calculation do I use for the same above but if I wanted to discount the second item by an exact amount or percentage (e.g. either by ￡2.00 or by 10%)

    Any guidance would be appreciated.
