Second domain, one wordpress account?

  • Hi there,
    I currently have one blog using www.remarpro.com. I registered a second domain and am wondering if I can use my same WP.org account for both, or will I need to set up a whole different WP.org account for the second domain (this domain will have nothing to do with my first site – both domains are through HostGator.com).

    Your wordpresss.org account (the one you use to login here) has nothing to do with the userid/password you use on your self-hosted WordPress sites.

    If you’re asking can you use the same id/password on one WP site as another, yes. If you use Jetpack’s single sign-in module, you can sign in via a wordpress.com account to your self-hosted sites.
