    Your question is too vague.
I don’t know what is ‘German “Umlaute”.’ and “musica”-theme.
Try to be specific about your question.

    Hi TC.K,
first of all thanks for your fast response.
I’ve looked in a dictionary, but there is no other word than “Umlaute”.

    However, I am talking about German ü, ?, ?.
Example: “Sie verfügen über …” is shown as “Sie verf??gen ??ber”, when doing y search / query.

I have checked the wp-config and the themes character-config in the header.php. Everything seems to be configured correctly.
Also in usual posts the ü, ?, and ? are shown correctly. So it’s from my point of view not an issue of the theme or the WP installation.

Only in the list (page) of Ultimate WPQSF results this issue appears.

Would be great, if you have any ideas how to solve that.
Do I have to add “char: utf-8” anywhere in one of the plugins php-files?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Frank

I still not get what problem is.
Do you mean your search doesn’t display correct German character? What result template that you use? Ajax or default template?

For special character, you can try this refer to this post.

Or you can try adding AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 to your .htaccess file.

Yep, that’s the problem. German characters aren’t displayed correctly.
I am using the Default Template.

I tried Ajax as well, but without any success.

AS said, wp-config is configure correctly.

All other posts and pages are displayed correctly, except when the search-form of UWPQSF.

Do you have any further ideas?

Thanks again for your fast response!

How about with the default search engine?
Did you try AddDefaultCharset UTF-8 to your .htaccess file?
Or can you provide your site url?
