Searching Syntax

There isn’t anything within the WooCommerce search to achieve this from just the base plugin.

There isn’t an issue with the search however it is still basic.

You can use https://www.woocommerce.com/products/product-finder/
https://www.woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-product-search/ and also this good as well
https://www.woocommerce.com/products/ajax-layered-navigation/
or the very powerful 3rd party https://searchwp.com/ to improve your search features.

Filtering down on multiple categories… as in like a fuzzy search on categories would require something along the lines of this Algolia search for WooCommerce :
https://community.algolia.com/woocommerce/quick-start.html
https://www.algolia.com/

Algolia search is really good and also instant and would be my recommendation.
