Searching phrases in comments (using livefyre) doesn't work

    I’m using Livefyre comments (3.17) and Relevanssi (3.1.4). When I search for individual words, Relevanssi gives me results that include results from the comments, so the comments do seem to have been indexed and searchable. When I use quotation marks to search for phrases that occur in a comment somewhere, though, I’m told there are no results. Phrase search does work if the phrase occurs in the body of a post.

    Any ideas? Many thanks in advance, I can’t seem to find any other descriptions of this behavior anywhere and am stumped.

    That is correct. Phrase search looks for the phrases in the post content. It does not work for regular comments or plugin comments. That’s an unfortunate limitation, but there’s no easy solution to fix this.
