    i’d rather not – i have analytics running on it and don’t want to throw them off. all i’m asking is what file the actual search function is in. i have not modified the file structure at all.

    why you want to do this ?

    Make sure that the action on your search form is set to <?php bloginfo('url'); ?>.

    @xrommelx I am using wordpress for a school project, which, instead of paying for a whole new domain name, I just created a directory under my site. I want the search functionality to just search my school project, not my whole domain.
