Searching is not functioning well

I have set up the search function on my website using the Ajax Search Lite plugin. After configuring the plugin, it successfully searches for anything on a page. I’ve also added tags to the pages. However, I only get results when searching for tags if I disable the “Search in Content” option. But when I search for anything other than the tag, I don’t get any results. Is there a way to configure the search to display pages with matching tags when I search for a tag, and to display all pages when I search for anything else? How can I integrate both of these to achieve the desired result?
