Searching into Tablepress content

    I’d like to implement a custom search that would look into tablepress_table post type content.
    I know there are plugins that allow searching by custom post types, but the problem is a bit more complicated in this case, because tablepress contents are not directly displayed on WordPress pages, but they are called using shortcodes.
    Has anyone already tried to develop this functionality, or has any suggestion to quickly achieve this?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Your best chance probably is to check out how TablePress integrates itself into the regular WordPress search, by looking at the relevant code in the controller-frontend.php file.
