Searching in the members list

  • Hi,

    All my users have a custom field which is their store name. I need to search and find user using this store name but it doesn’t work.

    The search seems to be working only for Username, Name and Email, nothing else.

    Do you know of a way to enhance the search so it would looks into all the users data?

    WordPress by default only searches limited fields (like username and email address). It does not include any custom meta fields in the query.

    WP-Members does allow you to change this. In the WP-Members settings, select the Fields tab. Check the box in the “Users Search” column for any field that you want to be able search by. From the bulk actions menu select “Save Settings” and click “Apply.”
