Searching in page getting excerpts sometimes, but not consistent

    Hi There- I’ve been experimenting with your plug in to see if it will work for our site, and it seems promising. I built the site in elementor, and it is organized as pages and not posts. I like the way the excerpts work, but it diesnt seem to be getting excerpts from many of the pages, but some it does without any problems. I have even just made a test page from scratch and it worked fine after a fresh indexing, but other excerpts are still missing.

    do you have any idea what could be interfering with finding excerpts on certain pages, or maybe how I can force it to find what it is missing in the excerpts?

    If I can make the basic part with the excerpts, I will be purchasing the option to include the .pdf search and I’ll be quite happy with the plugin!

    Hello,

    we have discussed this issue in online chat and the problem was partially solved by increasing a limit of characters in Smart Excerpt options. You said it’s ok for now, but I saw a problem for me to solve in the nearest future. This will be solved in the next update of Pro version (and later in one month it will be moved to the Free version).

    You also asked me to hide “protected” posts from the search results, I made a snippet for you, this works. But I also will include a respective option to the next version of WPFTS.

    So I assume this issue was resolved and TODO was created. Thank you!
