Searching for wp_login

Hello,

at the moment i’m trying to create an application, where a left frame controls a right frame, in which wordpress is shown. On the left is a menu having a call to wordpress/login-wp.php. The call includes get-params like log and pwd (md5-encrypted). So my big goal is modifying the wp_login and the wp_authenticate for accepting md5 hashes as passwords…
I’m searching for them since 2,5 h and i just don’t find them.

Well, that my problem :-)Which files contains these both functions?
