• Hey,

I’m still using your awesome plugin and I love it. A friend was testing the site and pointed out that when she searches for Oral-B on the site, it does not show up in the search results page. I tested this myself to confirm this.

When I type just “Oral,” it shows up perfectly fine. When I type any variation such as “oral b” and “oral-b,” no luck. I read in one of the topics that this plugin replaces hyphens with spaces and that there is a way to index all variations. Any idea on how to do either of these and what would be the best option?

    Thanks for your awesome plugin.

    Hey!

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. Appreciate it. I copied and pasted the code in the link for the ampersand and rebuilt the index to test H&M (a page I have as well), and no page turns up in the index now? I must be doing something wrong

Make sure the code is exactly correct, sounds like you have a typo in the code somewhere.

    Hey Mikko!

Thanks for your response. I like deleted, and recopied and repasted the code and I like triple-checked to make sure nothing was added or missing, and h&m doesn’t seem to want to pop up in the search results ??

What exactly is the problem? You said “no page turns up in the index now”, does that mean that when you try to build an index, nothing goes in the index? Or is it just the H&M search that does not work?

Sorry for the confusion. I meant that no page turns up when I search for H&M. I tested a couple other pages, and they turn up fine

I don’t know, hard to say.

    Yeah, it’s so weird
