Searching for help or tutorial link

  • Hi, I made wordpress theme in css software. FTP’ed into wordpress, activated it and set all the widgets where I want them. How do I save the wordpress theme as theme with all widgets in place so another person on my network can use it. I’m running WPMS.

  • Hello Kimberly,

    What you can do is add the widgets similar code on your theme directly, and share your theme or use the duplicator plugin and create a backup of all your site and install it on another server.

    If I set up a theme the way I want it, then make a child theme. Will the child theme will carry over all the plugin and widget settings?
