Under “Users-Profile Fields” I have setup three different groups:

Under “Users-Profile Search” it causes this:

Is there any way to have the plugin include fields from Player Info rather than only the Basic Info?

A little more detail: Coaches and Players are given their own Field Group. I want the coaches to be able to search for players who play sport X, and right now, it also includes coaches who teach sport X since the field is shared under Basic Info so it can be seen by the plugin. I would like to have a setup where Coach Info has two fields: Sport and School .. Player Info has about 10 fields, where two have same name by necessity (Sport and School) but set the plugin to search the Player Info field group and ignore the Coach Info field group.

Hopefully I was able to convey what I’m running into here, and since the Plugin displays the two “:” it seems like it might recognize there are other field groups, and maybe I just need to tweak something to have it display those fields as well.

    Thanks

BP Profile Search should be able to deal with multiple field groups, but apparently you found a bug I’m not able to reproduce.

If you wish I can debug this issue on your test site. You can email a WP admin and an FTP access to my address [email protected]

For our readers: the issue was due to the BuddyPress xProfiles ACL plugin settings, that restricted group visibility.
