searchform.php single line css help

  • Hello everyone,

    For some reason I can’t get my search box to one single line and the button won’t move.

    I’ve tried

    li{
display:block;
float:left;
}

    as well as other numerous techniques including inline.
    I’m using the Zurb Foundation with their “nice forms” (if it makes a difference)

    I just can’t figure it out! Is there something I’m missing? Checked searchform.php and tried other techniques but no hope
