searchform.php

Hi folks,

I’m adjusting twenty ten theme to my own flavor, first question is that oke ? Then my second question, i noticed searchform.php is not in the theme folder. Is that of a specific reason ? Third question, can i somewhere change the submit button to a type=image ?
