• Why are searches limited to one page? I would like users to be able to browse subsequent results.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

By default, the search is not limited to one page, so I believe this works differently based on changes and custom code that you have on your site.

You might want to do some research around that and see if you reproduce the same thing on a blank theme without plugins.

is the theme. On 2021 I have pagination. I added pagination in the search results and tried incognito on the 2024 theme, but the results are only 12. The other +100 results are not shown.

    I removed pagination again.

Hey @ildomandatore! Have you tried reproducing this on a fresh install of 2024, without any changes to templates? You can do this on WP playground, after setting it up and importing your posts here.

At this point, I’m having problems with WordPress. With the test site everything is fine. But on my site with plugins disabled and wordpress block themes no…

This would also explain the enormous difficulty in classifying me. 90% of the time pages are removed by Google, despite good work.

Webmaster tools are unable to validate errors or see changes made, even though a year and a half has passed.

Hey @ildomandatore – I do understand the frustration – it sounds, however, like that is unrelated to this thread. In terms of this issue – I’d reiterate the previous suggestion.

I was saying that I did the test and it was fine on your installation. What I do?

I see. As it works on a blank installation, I believe you might still have plugins installed on your site, or you’re running some custom code somehow making it happen this way.

Do you have any kind of hosting support that you could check your plugins and environment to see what happened here?

Now the Games category is a page and I have the entire list of pages. I’ll try the link you gave me again later and see if there is a 3 page limit for categories.

I’ve tried 3 times on different days and always have problems with the categories. it doesn’t matter if I disable all plugins.

But on your test site everything works. I’ve been waiting for your solution for days. I hope you have all the information you needed.

A clarification: the problem is in the numbering of the pages. On my live and staging site the maximum is 3. On your test site no.
