    Hi Mikko,

I have the Premium version and the default operator set to “OR”.

    Searching “bacteria”
    1589 results (OK)

    Searching “cell”
    6250 results (OK)

    Searching “bacteria cell”
    7213 results (OK)

    Searching “bacteria -cell”
    963 results (OK)

    The problem is:
    Searching “bacteria +cell”
    6250 results (NOT OK)

The +operator should give only results having both words (626 results). But it is giving the same as the word “cell”.

Do you have any idea how to fix this bug?
    Thanks!

This is not a bug, this is actually working as expected. The + operator doesn’t work the way you expect it does.

The + operator requires that the word with the + appears in all results, and it does.

If you only want to see the results with both words, you need to use the + operator for both words: “+bacteria +cell”.

Or, you can just set the operator to AND with &operator=and added to the search query (or otherwise setting the operator query variable).

    Oh great Mikko!
I’m sorry to call it a bug so ??

    Thanks for the answer!
