    Hi
in the property search box widget, I want to have a neighbourhood / area drop down list where my users can search via the area of the city. my website will only show properties from any ONE city, say London.

how can i set this up with minimal fuss. my properties will always be in the same city, just different neighbourhoods. when adding a new property, i want to be able to select which neighbourhood it’s in, and when users are searching for a property i want them to be able to search via the same neighbourhood options.

    thanks

    Hi Johny,

What version of Estatik plugin do you use? In the PRO/Premium versions, you have the ability to create custom fields type “Select” and add them to the search widget.
I think this option can solve your problem.

    Will it work for you?
    Thanks.

    Hi
I’m currently using the free version.
I need to figure this plugin out so i can use it for many other sites using this ‘lmited to city’ strategy. Each website will be dedicated to a single city.

I am anle to load up the ‘fields builder’, but navigating it to create a ‘City’ or ‘Neighbourhood’ field which has 6 or 7 options is difficult atm.

This is where im using it. If you look at the ‘search widget’ in the right sidebar, i’ve created a ‘city’ field, but when the user clicks on it, no options appear.

Thanbks for your great support so far.

Thanks, I worked it out. Can’t add it as a search parameter with the free version. Thanks.
