Search users by profile options

    Hello everyone,

    I’ve just started to use this plugin and couldn’t find how to let users search for other users by their profile options.
    I am doing a Language exchange page so in their profiles, the users must choose their native language(s) and practising language(s).
    So I’d like them to be able to search for people that are native in the language they want to learn and wants to learn their native one.

    For example: An italian guy wants to learn japanese, so in the search page he would search for Japanese guys (Native language “Japanese” in his profile) who wants to learn Italian (practising language “Italian” in his profile).

    Anyone knows how to do this? If there is a chance to make it without lots of coding, it’d be best since I’m still fairly new to wordrepess (if I have to code, I will try my best anyways ?? )

    Ok guys… I got to the part that I could select the options that I wanted (if anyone is having the problem I had, it has to be made in the Member Directory options), but I’m having trouble adding the pages to the site… I mean, in the back-end part it seems to be all right, but I cant add the search part. It seems that it doesn’t create any page, or have any widget or anything to this “member directory” thing… Or what should I do in order to use it…
    Sorry if it’s a real noob question.

    Hi @ricardo231190,

    Firstly, you have to create a Members page in the pages section and add the Ultimate member directory shortcode to this page.
    You can find this shortcode in Ultimate member -> Member directories section.
    Secondly, don’t forget to assign this page in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Pages section.
