Search uploaded odt text not poosible?

    Hi,

    I uploaded a odt file for testing reasons. Formatting is perfect!
    I added the wordpress search widget but I am not bale to find any text which is within the odt file? Is that possible that I can’t search for content? Is there any solution for this case?

    Dear Heohni,

    Although the text is indexed by external robots I am afraid that the text may not be searched by the standard search widget because in the wp database there is only kept the reference to the document.

    The only available solution to the best of my knowledge is to include Google Search in your wp.

    Hi Eduardo,

    I tried to install this WP Google Search like in the video, but with this I can’t find anything, not a single word and there are major layout issues. Within the reviews I found exactly my problem with the same theme “Twenty sixteen”. It is really a pitty ??

    Have you checked that those pages are indexed by Google?

    Google indexation is not inmmediate unles you request it via Google webmaster tools…
