Hello, I’m contacting you because I encounter an issue with Ajax search lite when I configure it for searching through a custom post type that I’ve manualy created.

I’ve already use this plugin for searching through post and page and everything works fine but with a custom post type, the form always return no result.

    I add you a link paste.ee:

    Hi,

Thank you for the details, the configuartion seems to be all right. I don’t see any search queries triggered yet.

Have you added the plugin shortcode anywhere and tried to search via the search bar?

    Best,
    Ernest M.

Okay. When searching for anything do you see any live results under the search bar like this? If not, can you please try the shortcode on a singular page.

    Hi,

No, that’s my issue, I’ve no result under the search bar exactly like on your screenshot.

I’ve try to add the shortcode on a normal page but the problem remains the same.

    Okay.

I looked through the options, and I noticed that the post status option is set incorrectly, it is set to “publié”, when it should be “publish”: https://i.imgur.com/sWx4Atx.png

Changing it back to publish should resolve the issue.

Perfect, it solved our issue. Indeed I’ve set the value to “publié” because our backend is translate in French, and I just copied the value which was set in the description but in French.

Thanks for your help and quick answer.

Perfect ?? I will mark this as resolved then.

Feel free to rate the plugin if you like it, it is greatly appreciated.

    All the best,
