Search Spam

    So ever since I started using this plugin I now have hundreds of search spam trying to be indexed by Google. They aren’t indexing the pages but somehow there are porn sites and dating sites being picked up by Google. How can I stop this search spam?

    Hi @presson2022,

    It sounds like you are referring to search spam through your site search.

    If this is not the case please let me know.

    Otherwise, you can add the following lines to your robots.txt in?All in One SEO?>?Tools?>?Robots.txt Editor?–
    https://a.supportally.com/i/znFufs

    Here’s the lines to add, one at a time –

    User-agent: * Disallow: /search/
    User-agent: * Disallow: /?s=

    Then over the next several days check to see if your span is reduced.

    Thanks. I will add that. Question. Since it’s WP, should I have this:

    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Yes, you should have – Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php in the Robots.txt.
