Search Shows Only Posts, not Pages

    I came to the support forum today for an exact opposite problem… when you do a search, on the search results page you see a dropdown that says “Show Post Results”? If you click that, you then see an option to show Page Results…

    Does that solve your problem somewhat?

    My big problem is I do not want to show that dropdown at all, and instead I **only** want to search for Posts. I want to eliminate Pages from the search results. A function would work on a normal theme to do this, so I’m sure the developers could add an admin function to “Show Results for: Posts, Pages, Both”. How about it?
