Is there a way for search to return links to PDFs, not the PDFs themselves?

  • Hello, I’m looking for a few things here:

    1. A way to index PDFs, DOCs, etc.

    2. Have WP return the posts linking to those documents when a search finds matches within the documents.

    3. Make the documents themselves only accessible to users that are logged in…

    Is all this beyond what WordPress can do?
