Hi,
I am using your plugin on a site with Elementor Pro and the search bar works really well. As soon as I hit enter an go to the search results page, I cannot see any search results. The page only shows the cateogories of the shop. I am guessing there is an issue with Elementor ARchive vor search results as your plugin modifies the URL with something like “…&dgwt-wcas-search-submit=&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1”
Any experience with Elementor?

Hi all,

Because this topic is still drawing a lot of attention and popping up in search engines, we decided to update it with the solution to the problem.

The reason for the problem is that there is a wrong template set in Elementor – a lot of users create a WordPress search template instead of a WooCommerce search template.

To make FiboSearch work properly with Elementor, you need to create a ‘Product Archive’ template for product search results. After creating the template, set the template condition to ‘Include: Search results’.

If the newly created template is not working, review your templates in the ‘Products Archive’ tab. If there are other templates there, set their condition to ‘Exclude: Search results’.

Hi Marta,
In my case, I created the template just how you said (in Product Archive) and it does not work either.
Instead, it stills showing the shop template, in which I have excluded “search results”.

Hi @iciaretxebarria,

What are your settings in Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product Catalog -> Shop page display? Is it set to ‘Show categories’? If yes, please set it to ‘Show products’ and check the search results page.

Hi!

I solved this problem by creating a model and set it as search results in type of model you can see it like in this image, then you can set a condition to it like in this image.png .
