Search results page same order as in search field

    Hi,

    Is it possible that on the “Search results” page the same order is displayed as for the search bar?

    Currently it sorts by menu order.

    The default sorting on the search results page and autocomplete results should be the same. Check if in WordPress Admin Dashboard -> Appearance -> WooCommerce -> Product Catalog -> Default product sorting you have the “Default sorting (custom ordering + name)” option set as active.

    If the sorting on your website is different, it may mean that:

    • Your theme has settings to control this. Check the administration panel in the theme settings if this option exists.
    • Your theme may have applied a filter or function to change the default sorting mode in WooCommerce to a different one. Check the functions.php or other file if it exists.
    • One of the plugins allows you to influence the sorting of products on your website. Check the list of plugins and their options.
