Search results out of order

  • When readers search my blog they are getting the results out of order. Some recent results are at the top, followed be results from a few years ago, followed by results from last month. Is there a way to force chronological order for search results? What types of thing would impact the order of the results?

    This is happening on multiple computers/browsers.
