Search results not showing from custom taxonomies

I installed Pods – Custom Content Types and Fields plufin for making custom taxonomies on my website. I published some posts under newly created custom (post)-taxonomies and my website displays them on “most recent posts” which is great.

However when i search with the plugin “Search and filter” for the taxonomie in my search bar: my website cant find anything. They will not show up on my search result page. In this situation i don’t get a message of “no posts found” which i always get when the search term is non existing on the website. Also when i search for posts under a normal category with this plugin: the search results page displays all the posts under this category. When you use the normal website search bar when searching on categories, the search result page wont show posts under categories from itself, only with the plugin “search and filter” through the custom search form from this plugin.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

So for clarity i do like to find posts in the results page for posts published under custom taxonomies when using the plugin search and filter when using custom search fields this plugin provides f.e. for custom taxonomies.
