Search results jumbled together

  • I am having trouble with the default search results. They are all jumbled together. Please see:

    You can see that 193 displays, and there is a nice line underneath, but 194 does not respect that line and starts too soon.

    On the next result, the data for 194 is displayed, but looks like it is for 156. Our users are confused and click on the wrong search results. How can I make everything line up correctly so that the search results screen looks like the search results screens that our customers are used to?

    That’s not a Relevanssi issue, that’s a problem with your search results template. Relevanssi doesn’t really have anything to do with how the search results are presented.

    Does Relevanssi work with Chinese characters? That’s news to me –?I’ve been under the impression that it doesn’t.

    As long as the plugin is fully utf-8 compliant, it should work. That’s been my experience so far. Honestly, in 2013, I’m more surprised about software that’s not utf-8 than is. You can check this link which searches in Chinese.

    Does anyone have any advice about a new search results template? I can’t find any replacement and nobody replies to my question.

    Put your search results template in a pastebin and I’ll take a look at it.
