Search Results Issue?

  • I uploaded my site and while I’m still learning/implementing SEO, I thought I’d do a search for my page specifically on Google. When I do, I get the following link: https://evenflowcc.com/services.html which brings up my menu but also says “No results found.” However, when I click on the Services button on that page, it brings up the proper page with this link: https://evenflowcc.com/services/

    How do I eliminate the link with the .html extension or do I need to? I don’t really know how to Google or search for such a specific question. Thanks.

    A friend fixed it as it was somewhere in the permalinks so now the links ending in html point to the respective page. However can someone tell me why there is a h ttp://evenflowcc.com/services.html AND an https://evenflowcc.com/services ? all the pages have duplicates like that.
