Search Results is restricted

I’m not sure what you are trying to do. The search should not be restricted or it could be only display 10 items at a time.

The Pagination is how it is.

Imagine, for example, the search results return 50 pages. The theme, I think, only shows the first ten.

How about the other 40?

its not a bug, is just how i set this up, i didn’t add pagination on it. possiblity.

Hello, then let me asked, when you search, do you even have 50 pages worth of results tho. because it doesn’t make any sense at all.

Can you imagine if Google displays only 10 results!!! They would become useless.

I’ll also give you a very simple example. If a person builds a site where he can sell some clothes and uses the theme. He then searches for the word “shirt”. The theme would then display 10 shirts/links BUT the fact is there are hundreds of other shirts available in his online store. This means a loss of revenue because people can’t find what they are searching for.

Another simple example is a writer who writes a blog/article every week. He creates a site to compile all his writings that he did throughout the years. This means that he has hundreds of pages with all his writings. A visitor then wants to research something within the site and uses the search. Unfortunately, the search results can only display 10 entries when in fact there should have been 20 more entries. The visitor is then left with an impression that what he searched is not there just because of the limitations of the search.

My focus on the theme is not about having good search results, This is a free theme for WordPress, if you really need to have better search results, you will need to wait till I figure something out. The way I created this theme was mainly to display contents for pages and posts. my goal wasn’t about search results.
