Search results in product format instead of posts

    Hello there,

    I’ve got a webshop with mostly products. I was wondering if it is possible to show the search results as products as well. What happens now is, the search results are being showed as posts instead of products.

    The plugin works fine besides this, just wondering if this is possible and if so, how.

    To display products in the search result, please select the Product post type in the plugin option “Search Post Types :” in the plugin settings page.

    Thanks for the quick response!

    I’ve already tried this but unfortunately it stille displays the overview as posts. I saw some difference in the URL compared to other search bars.

    This plugin returns “?s=Searchterm” in the URL, some others return “?s=Searchterm&post_type=product” which displays it just fine.

    Yes you are right that Woocommerce handles search using “?s=Searchterm&post_type=product” but the plugin does this using “?s=Searchterm” which is generic for all post types as the plugin has to handle all post types.

    You have notified me genuine issue and I will add an option in the future version of plugin settings to customise search URLs.

    We will add this option in the plugin settings to handle different URLs in the future version of plugin but currently we don’t have any ETA for it.
