On my default homes list page I am using the following [property_overview] short code:

    [property_overview sorter=on sort_by=square_feet sort_order=ASC hide_count=true per_page=10 pagination=on]

If you go directly to this page the sort works perfectly. However, if you do a property search then the sort order is completely ignored and it appears to default to menu_order with absolutely no way to change this whatsoever.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just a limitation of this plugin that I cannot set the sort options for search results?

    Hello.

Check this setting in Settings/Main tab – “When showing property search results, don’t override the page content with [property_overview].
If checked, be sure to include [property_overview] somewhere in the content, or no properties will be displayed.”

    Regards.

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe I didn’t see that checkbox there! That completely fixed my problem. Thank you so much!
