  • Hi David,
    Is there any way to customize the layout of search results? Would like to show results the same way they look in the category page (grid format, without descriptions).Right now (by default) the featured image is blown up, pixelated, and cut off, & all of the description text appears.
    Also, I noticed that if a download title has more than one word and when only one of those words is typed in the search box, there are no results found.

    Sorry for late reply!

    My plugin only offers a search form, that means input field for the search string. It does in no way handle any results/display.

    That is also not doable, as there are way too many themes out there that tend to use quite a few different ways of displaying results. I am not able to support all those ways…

    What you can try:
    – How does your theme display regular search results (blog posts, pages)?
    – Is there any post type support in the theme already?

    You might re-use some templates of EDD category/ taxonomy or archive display for your results, so to include conditional code statements in existing templates or adding new attributes for the EDD search via hooks, filters or very own templates.

    What theme are you using and what’s your URL?
