Search results

  • This tag seems to fill a void in WP, but I’m having a problem using it with a “Search”. Search results show a page with the terms I am looking for, but do not display the summary. Even worse, once you click on the result, neither the summary nor the link to the publication is displayed. The only place this is displayed is on a page which includes the “shortcode”.

    How can I get a search result to display the summary and the link to the publication?

    Any idea on the time frame? I have a current project that needs this feature. I can contribute $ if that helps.

    For those of you keeping track, version 2.3 now integrates the publication list with the blog search system. Search results will return a title (in the form of “Publication Title (Download Publication)”) and the summary you entered for the publication. The permalink returned is the direct download link.
