Search result not showing for custom taxonomies

  • Hi,

    I use Toolset view for archive pages and Relevanssi free version for the search.

    We notice the search result is not showing the custom taxonomy post. Ex. we have a taxonomy A it have 200 post. In Dashboard-> admin search result shows the same result 1-200 post found.

    When we search the same in the frontend archive page it only shows post by post title, content, and custom field not showing the post related to taxonomy.

    Settings
    In Toolset view
    Search keyword-> post title, content, and custom field
    In Relevanssi:

    Selected post type->post and pages

    taxonomy->selected all custom taxonomy

    Custom field->All

    searching-> and option

    Is the search Taxonomy is included in Free version or it is a premium feature?

    If it is included in a free version please guide me how to fix this isue?

    If you’re getting taxonomy-based results in the admin search as expected, Relevanssi is configured correctly and works as it should. That would suggest the Toolset view is not using Relevanssi for the search. Unfortunately, I can’t help with that –?I know nothing about Toolset. Toolset support would be a better place to ask.

    Just to make sure the Relevanssi free version will search custom taxonomy right?

    Yes. Free Relevanssi will find the posts in that taxonomy. Premium will find the taxonomy terms themselves.
