Search Result message: note: This content requires a higher login level

  • I just installed Relevanssi and it looks WONDERFUL! Thanks so much for the plugin and for your support. When I log in as a normal user (instead of my normal admin account), on one of my searches, I get an * following the page name and then the message “note: This content requires a higher login level.”. However, I can click on the resulting page just fine. I couldn’t find this message documented anywhere. Is this message from Relevanssi or is coming from some other plugin that I’ve installed (or maybe WordPress core? I tried to do a Google search on the phrase but nothing really showed up.

    Definitely not a Relevanssi message. Do you get that message on a search results page?

    Do you have any plugins that are related to content control?

    Yes … it was in the Search Results page … I’ll start disabling other plugins to let you know if I can determine what might be happening. However, I have to do that on a test site so it might be a couple of days.
