You should just be able to add the keyword to the textbox “Event:” and it should find those.

Thanks for the reply, however I need more information. I’m very new to wordpress and know nothing about “search query” Where can I get more details on how to construct a query ? How could I search for events that only START with “Event:”, but ignore events that contain the word “Event:” in the middle of their description.

I’m heading down the right path, just need to find some information on exactly what syntax that “search query” supports

    thanks!

    Mark,

As far as this plugin is concerned, a search query is just text that you’re looking for in the event description itself.

For instance, “concert” in search query will find events named “rock concert”, “jazz concert” and “concert in the park”.

    Hope that helps.
