Search Query Dropdowns

  • Firstly, thanks for this fantastic plugin!

    Secondly, I was hoping to sort my database using a dropdown list of submitted values entered for a given field. My continued use of this plugin depends on it!

    For example, we have a database of healthcare providers, and I would like users to be able to sort the list by State and/or City and/or Provider Specialty. Is there a way to code it so that when someone selects their State from a dropdown sort, the City and Provider Specialty options narrow to records that fit those criteria?

    FYI, I’m very limited in my knowledge of PHP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Creating something like this does requires some technical knowledge, it requires a combination of custom PHP to populate your dropdpwns, then javascript to filter those dropdowns so they only show the relevant options.
