Search Product Function in Homepage

    Dear Team,

    I have a website running on wordpress platform, I used Ultimate Product Catalogue plugin on my website.
    Can I customize the search function?
    Now search product only available on product page.

    Can I have copy search product feature on my homepage?

  • Hi ariantobl,

    You can setup the “UPCP Search Bar” widget by going to “Appearance” –> “Widgets”. The search bar widget can be added to any widgetized area in your theme. So, if your theme has a widgetized area in your homepage, then you can place it there.

    Please make sure to specify the catalogue URL, so that it knows what page the shortcode is on and so that it can render and link to the products correctly.

    Hi Etoile,

    yes, your solution is work but only can search under one Catalogue.
    I can not search product from other Catalogue.

    Is there any workaround for this case?

    Hi Aria,

    Our widget currently only targets one catalogue at a time (with the “The URL of your catalogue:” section of the widget).

    One workaround we can suggest would be to create a catalogue with all your products in it, then add the shortcode to a special “search” page and use that URL in the widget.
