  • Hi Villa,

What is the exact shortcode you are using on this page? If it isn’t [ultimate-faq-search], then please try that.

If you place this shortcode on a new page by itself, without the contact form and all the extra content, does it work?

If you disable “FAQ Auto Complete Titles” (in the “Premium” area of the FAQ settings), does it work?

Could you also try the following shortcode instead: [ultimate-faq-search show_on_load=”Yes”]. This should display all your FAQs on load and allow the search to function as a kind of filtering. Does this correctly display all your FAQs?

    Thank you

    No difference, see https://www.suncoastvacation.com/test-2/

Yes it shows them all. But search does not work.

    Thank you

    Hi Villa,

It appears to be properly working on our test websites. It could be possible that another plugin is rendering issues with ours. Could you try to disable them and test the “pet” search once more?

    Best regards,

Ive also a problem with the search.
The Auto Title is working, but the search doesnt find terms in body of the Answers.

“[ultimate-faq-search]: display an FAQ search form that allows users to find FAQs with a specific string in the FAQ title or body of the FAQ post (premium).”

Any maybe it would be better, that you jump to the question, when you choose in the autocomplete

Sometimes i click a result and nothing happened

    Hi Sascha,

We just had a look at the page at the URL you provided. It looks you are using both the [ultimate-faq-search] shortcode and the [ultimate-faqs] shortcode on this page. This makes it so that all the FAQs are always visible under the search, which gives the impression that it isn’t filtering the results. However, we did some testing on your page and the search functionality does seem to be working as it should. Please try removing the [ultimate-faqs] shortcode from that page and then going to it again. You’ll see that now, when you search something, only matching FAQs are left.
