Search Plugin that allows for sub-options

  • Hello
    I’m looking for a search plugin that will either let you:
    A. Bring up a secondary question dependent on answer to first question.
    For example:
    1. Enter county
    And then, depending on what they enter, this then brings up a list of the zip code areas within that county.

    Or

    B. Will search for the full text entered only.
    For example, if searching for items tagged SE13 it will ignore items tagged as SE1. I had planned to use Search & Filter Pro but, as far as I can see, it will not allow this?

    For your first question, that sounds pretty custom as at first you’d need to enter every county and every zip code within before any of that could be done. So I’m doubting you’ll find anything out of the box like that but could be wrong.

    Thank you very much, I think the idea in your link will work well in my case; I will try and work out how to use it with Search & Filter Pro.
    I’m in the Uk btw so manually entering every county/first half of zip is less crazy tgan it sounds (a few hours work rather than a few days!). Just in case anyone else Is reading and has any other suggestions!
