Search person by Name and Location and by Profile Fields

    HI,

    is it possible to Search/Filter Persons by their Name and Location and by Profile Fields (for example by Person Weight, etc…)?

    Unfortunately, the search is now limited to a few default fields like name, gender, e-mail (if admin enables it), avatar (yes/no).

    Custom fields are searchable only if they are of “single select” type.

    We have plans for a more complete search engine in the future, but for that to happen we need to redesign a lot of the architecture first, so there’s no deadline yet.

    A powerful frontend user listing with search/filtering based on user profile custom fields is a must-have for a community website, in my opinion also.

    Sorry but there are no developments in this area and we don’t expect to have them any time soon. Like I said, the existing architecture won’t support it in any meaningful way, and PeepSo 3 is still on the drawing board.
