Search Parameters added to URL search page – interfering with caching

When I go to the page i have designated as the Geodirectory Search page in the settings, it automatically adds the parameters to the end for geodireectory search:
https://www.sensationaltutors.co.uk/tutors/becomes
https://www.sensationaltutors.co.uk/tutors/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sIs that a function or default setting of Geodirectory? Or has that possibly been added manually somewhere in the backend? Is there no way to have the search & filter page just be https://www.sensationaltutors.co.uk/tutors/ without the parameter and have it function properly?
Reason I ask is it’s very slow loading, while the rest of the site is fine, and the host said that the URL parameters causes it not to be cached…..thoughts? Any other way to speed up the loading of the page? And similarly the spee of the filters being applied?
