    This is very odd. I can do some searches on my blog and have no issues at all. But if I do searches for these two terms—and I know there are posts with these terms in my blog—I get a blank white page and this in Web Inspector:

    <html>
    <head>
    	<link type="text/css" media="all" href="https://www.go2jo.com/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_8e9eaf165b1c9b8d3594f23878d83f32.css" rel="stylesheet">
    	<!--noptimize-->
    	<!-- Autoptimize found a problem with the HTML in your Theme, tag <code>title</code> missing -->
    	<!--/noptimize-->
    	<link type="text/css" media="screen" href="https://www.go2jo.com/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_53168e10b7485673191e9a819761750c.css" rel="stylesheet">
    	<!--noptimize-->
    	<!-- Autoptimize found a problem with the HTML in your Theme, tag <code>title</code> missing -->
    	<!--/noptimize-->
    </head>
    <body></body>
    </html>

    Which draws a blank white page.

    I get these errors searching for some single word terms “clash” “elvis” but for other words my search page is drawn no problems.

    https://www.go2jo.com/?s=clash
    https://www.go2jo.com/?s=elvis

    But if I search the word “springsteen” … no problem.

    https://www.go2jo.com/?s=springsteen

    Color me baffled. If I turn off Autoptimize these terms return a full search page with found content.

    Any ideas? Any fix?

    that is a weird one! looks like an output buffer conflict of some kind, but no idea why this would happen on some search results pages and not on others I’m afraid.

    do you use stock wordpress-search or something that enhances or replaces that?

    Thread Starter Joe Streno

    (@butisitart)

    It’s the stock WP search. No 3rd party extension version or enhancement for searching, but the archive & search and index php pages are using a grid plugin to display the results.

    What’s odd is not even the WP interface, Admin bar etc are drawn. Just nothingness.

    But you’d think that if is was a search problem, it would happen for ALL searches not just arbitrary search words.

    and does the problem go away if you disable the grid plugin by any chance?

    (@butisitart)

    As soon as I remove the Post Grid plugin php code from my archive.php & search.php pages … all those searches return what they should & the pages draw as they should.

    As much as I don’t want to … I need to dump the Post Grid plugin. Had a feeling that’s how t would end up. I wasted far too much time on this. Now if I can only get a refund. lol

    Thanks for your input. ??

    you’re welcome Joe. to be clear; if need be we could also disable AO on the search pages with a couple of lines of code that hook into AO’s API. that way you can keep the grid plugin?

    It’s a goner. I also realized it conflicts with SmartSlider Pro 3. Post Grid was causing 40-60 errors for SSP3 on each search. Yeah … buh-bye to Post Grid.

    With AO & Hyper Cache my load times are 2 seconds or less … with Post Grid installed it kills my load and search times.

    Later for that!

    Thanks for all your help!

    Hi,
    I’m having (I think hehe) the same issue. Search results page appears completely blank…
    Can you help me deactivating AO in Search results page, please?

    Thank you in advance!
